OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGICAL NURSING

Welcome to Midwifery, Obstetric & Gynecological Nursing Department. This specialty deals with prenatal care, intranatal care, post natal care and care of women with reproductive diseases. This area of nursing specialty provides a course in 2 units as in integral part of BSc Nursing 4th year and GNM 3rd year programme in our Nursing Institute.

We have great modernized approach to academic and learning processes. Among our greatest attributes is emphasis on competencies, creativity, critical thinking, skill development, good professional judgment, effective and safe quality practice among students.

We have highly motivated and skilled faculty. We also emphasized on application of theories, principles related to health care delivery, modern concepts in nursing and midwifery practice.

We strongly stress on attendance of all prescribed theoretical and clinical courses of study according to Indian Nursing Council, maximum use of skilled labs and clinical placement. Students and staff members actively engaged in research activities, consultancy and other services that enhance their skills and up gradation of their knowledge.
