NURSES DAY CELEBRATION

International Nurses Day (IND) is celebrated every year all around the world on 12^th of May to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Florence Nightingale and to mark the nurses contributions towards people’s health.

LAMP LIGHTING DAY 

The lamp lighting ceremony is an auspicious occasion in every nurse’s life, held in reverence to Florence Nightingale, the lady with the lamp. Nursing is the only profession that follows lamp lighting ceremony. Light, as a symbol of knowledge, removes ignorance and is a lasting wealth by which lots could be achieved.The lamp lighting ceremony formally recognizes the students’ entry into the nursing profession.

SCHOOL HEALTH PROGRAM

Every year, MNI is organizing school health program in schools of rural and urban areas of Muzaffarnagar district. Childhood is the age of learning and it is the time when a child start developing practices and attitude towards health. It has been proven that schools can provide an ideal platform for the promotion of oral health. School is considered as place for learning where children learn not only subjective knowledge but also life style practices and health seeking behaviors.

CULTURAL AND SPORTS WEEK

Cultural and sports week Celebrated every year in Muzaffarnagar Nursing Institute. All students enthusiastically participate and enjoys during this week celebration.
